Key Responsibilities:
• HR Strategy & Policy Implementation:
• Implement and support the company’s HR policies, processes, and initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
• Talent Management & Development:
• Collaborate with department heads to identify talent gaps and training needs, support succession planning, and manage employee development initiatives to enhance skill sets across the organization.
• Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, HR policies, and statutory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations in the textiles sector.
• Performance Management:
• Drive the performance management process, including performance appraisals, feedback, and development plans for employees to support continuous growth and alignment with business objectives.
• Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:
• Manage and resolve employee grievances in a timely and effective manner, ensuring that employee concerns are addressed while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Industrial Relations:
• Handle industrial relations matters, including negotiations with unions, addressing workplace disputes, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations in Benin.
• POSH (Prevention of ****** Harassment):
• Act as a POSH committee member, ensuring adherence to the prevention of ****** harassment guidelines, conducting awareness programs, and resolving any POSH-related issues.
• Workforce Planning & Retention:
• Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and employee retention programs, tailored to the specific needs of the textiles industry.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience (8+ years) in Human Resources, specifically in the textiles industry (e.g., Arvind Mills, Raymonds, or similar companies).
• Strong experience in employee relations, grievance handling, industrial relations, and labor laws.
• Hands-on experience with POSH compliance and committee involvement.
• Familiarity with HR practices and legal frameworks in Benin or similar African markets is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is an added advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflict resolution effectively.
• Experience in working closely with leadership teams and providing strategic HR guidance.
