About the Role ...
As our HR Business Partner, based in our Sydney office, you'll be supporting business units that are across multiple site locations, partnering with leaders and teams to deliver progressive people solutions that align with our purpose and strategy. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor across all areas of the employee lifecycle, with a focus on, but not limited to, performance, capability, employee relations, enterprise agreements, award structures, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a HR practitioner with strong generalist foundations who’s looking to step into a more strategic, consultative role. Some travel maybe required interstate to support various teams and projects.

What will you do?
In this role, you will:
Build strong partnerships with people leaders to understand priorities and deliver aligned HR strategies
Provide expert support and guidance to people leaders in the areas of performance management, grievance handling, award interpretation, employee relations and other employee experience journeys
Promote organisational change and culture initiatives that reflect our values, our commitment to diversity and inclusion and our leadership growth framework
Provide insights through HR metrics and reporting to guide people strategy and risk management
Participate in cross-functional People, Culture & Capability projects that help to improve our processes internally
What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an equivalent HR Business Partner or generalist role
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards, enterprise agreement workings and HR best practices
Demonstrated experience in supporting leaders through employee relations and performance matters together with knowledge of our external regulatory environment
Excellent stakeholder engagement, consultation, and communication skills
A proactive, practical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Experience in health, insurance, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable
