HR Direct is a team of Trusted Advisors and Consultants who provide simple and easy solutions through quality advice and expertise, first time, anywhere, anytime. The HR Direct team supports employees and managers with their HR Policy, Workplace Relations, Pay and Navigational enquiries.

This is a dynamic team that is focused on providing exceptional customer service, while at the same time fostering career development into a number of roles across the broader HR team.

About the Role

HR Direct are available to service customers from 8:30am to 5:30pm (AEST and AEDT). You will be required to be available to work within these hours.

As an Human Resources Direct Consultant, your role will be to understand the HR needs of our Senior Leaders and their Executive Assistants by providing efficient, accurate, confident and professional advice and going above and beyond to provide an excellent experience.

Your primary focus will be to deliver high calibre advice and counsel to our business for all their HR related matters end to end. You will need to discuss, question and fully understand what the senior leaders are trying to achieve and provide options to them to deliver a valued solution in as quick a time frame as possible. Through this, you will ensure the success of HR Direct by achieving its goals as set out to exceed our customer’s expectations.

As with all roles across the bank, in order to achieve HR Direct’s high standard of customer service and satisfaction, you will be provided with targets against which your performance will be measured.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

3-5 years in Human Resources / regulated environments experience

Ability to establish productive working relationships with senior leaders and the HR community

Strong customer focus and the ability to fully understand Senior Leaders needs

Demonstrable achievements in managing situations where leadership and influencing skills are paramount to success

Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgement

Excellent oral & written communication skills.

Be a role model within the centre in capabilities, outcomes and HR expertise

Track record of solving problems by working consultatively with others and demonstrated capability to take the lead and implement actions

Resilience and a ‘can do’ proactive attitude, with a track record of providing excellent customer service

This would be a 12 month secondment / maximum term contract opportunity.
