Responsibilities

Position Description: The Attendance & FMLA Coordinator will ensure that the National Attendance Program (NAP), Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA), and tardiness are administered in accordance with the National Agreement, Company Policy, applicable regulations, Company practice, and Local Contractual Agreements

Administer NAP, FMLA, MLOA, and tardiness policies, ensuring compliance with Company policies and contractual agreements

Conduct corrective action discussions for chargeable absences, failure to follow notification processes, and tardiness

Properly document corrective action hearing outcomes

Follow-up with line management to resolve NAP and tardiness issues

Audit and correct Time Worked on System (TWOS) coding for NAP and tardiness

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for line management customers on NAP interpretation

Maintain all required documentation related to FMLA administration

Serve as the liaison between line management and the local medical department

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for employees requesting FMLA and for UNICARE

Identify and implement opportunities to streamline current attendance and FMLA processes

Must be available to work morning, night, and weekend shifts depending on assigned crew/shift

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Administer NAP, FMLA, MLOA, and tardiness policies, ensuring compliance with Company policies and contractual agreements.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 6+ months of previous Human Resources experience

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Experience in attendance and FMLA monitoring.

Skills Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with 2+ years of experience.
