The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive People Services Advisor to provide accurate advice and guidance in a supportive, customer-focused environment.

This role is critical in ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, enhancing the customer experience through timely and fit-for-purpose advice, and managing cases through the ticketing system.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance the customer experience by providing timely and fit-for-purpose advice.
Manage cases through the ticketing system.
Interpret and apply the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (VPS EBA), HR policies, and delegations to ensure accurate and consistent advice is provided for more complex inquiries.
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to HR processes, enhancing operational efficiency and the overall customer experience.
Maintain accurate and complete records in line with legislative requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other teams across the People Services function to enhance the customer and employee experience.
About You

Proven experience in a HR generalist role, with a strong track record of applying a customer service approach in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to multitask effectively while managing a high volume of work.

Proven track record of proactively building relationships at all levels to enable effective HR advisory and operational support.

Experience with HR/Payroll systems and telephony systems would be advantageous.

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or an equivalent tertiary qualification would be desirable.
