About VLL
In our continued efforts of Delivering Joy, we have taken another leap – Vaibhav Lifestyle Limited -our garment manufacturing facility in India. As cost effectiveness, speed to market, product flexibility is a vital part of the overall business strategy, we have set up a factory of 3+,000 sq feet at Sitapura Jaipur.
This factory is equipped with Design, Cutting, Stitching, and Basic Washing facility. We now possess multi product apparel capabilities. From simpler silhouettes to sophisticated dresses, we will now be producing it all under one roof. We have 250 machines, and the daily output is approximately 4500 pieces. We continue to invest in our current venture and will soon have an in-house Digital Printing Machine.
Product development is key and an inevitable part to survive the global competition. To leverage our manufacturing strengths, we have an in-house design and product development team who is continually researching and developing products to support our Global Partners.
We are focusing on having short product development cycle- an essence to capture wider business opportunities. With our own manufacturing facility, we will now be nimble towards customer needs BEHIND THE SEAMS we have the best of Quality Team and Support.
We are engaging in reverse engineering products and redefining operational procedures. “Building Quality” rather than “Checking Quality” is our Motto. With our production arm it will now be possible to engage in deconstructing the garments to study the patterns and process before needle touches the fabric in the production. Role Intro
We are looking for an experienced and result driven HR Generalist to join our dedicated HR team. The HR Generalist will manage overall Employee Lifecycle.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• The person will be responsible for entire operations of all the employees - from hire to retire
• Responsible for all statutory compliances in the organization (Application of licenses, renewal of licenses). This person shall front end with all statutory/ labour inspections
• The person should have complete understanding of the employee pulse.
• Manpower Planning and Recruitment Strategy and execution.
• Draft HR Policies/guidelines/formats applicable for the workforce
• Address grievances of employees
• Advice to the management regarding all issues related to the workforce
• All disciplinary issues/ absconding/termination cases, if any would be handled by this individual. This person will action on behalf of the company with respect to employee matters/ litigation if any
• Training needs identification, design training programs, roll out training
• Employee engagement
Requirement:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience working in Apparel industry is highly preferable.
• Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced, ever changing environment.
• Experience in the Factory HR Roles
• Thorough knowledge of statutory guidelines and compliances.
• Deep understanding of HR processes and tools.
• Experience in garment export house.
• Good knowledge of HR, buyer compliance, safety, administration.
