Responsibilities
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Manage and facilitate the staffing process, including placing job ads, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
Conduct background checks, maintain I-9’s and E-verify all new hires
Maintain employee personal files and HR records
Manage Paid Time Off in Paychex payroll system
Work on yearly healthcare renewals and manage all aspects of the company healthcare including enrollments, terminations, and claim issues
Investigate employee relations issues / conflicts - brings them to resolution
Manage all workers compensation claims with Selective Insurance Company
Set up 401K educational meetings twice a year and enroll newly eligible employees
Plan company events to maintain good company morale
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
Work with Paychex (payroll system) to make sure employee handbook is up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
Handle all FMLA and Temp Disability Leave Requests
Supports management with whatever is needed in the workforce
Manage the onboarding process for new employees including but not limited to generating key fobs for office buildings
Meeting agenda for HR Meetings
Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:

Human Resources Generalist Requirements:
• A Minimum of 5 years of related HR experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• HR certification is a plus.
• Experience with hiring and onboarding preferred, knowledge of Healthcare preferred, strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Must be reliable.
