About the Role: Human Resources Assistant

Join our team as a Human Resources Assistant (HR Assistant) and play a vital role in enhancing the employee experience while ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This dynamic position encompasses a variety of essential HR functions, including:

Managing the full-cycle recruitment process for employee applications

Handling employee relations with care and professionalism

Conducting engaging new employee orientations

Maintaining accurate and organized records

Reviewing performance reviews and reports

Implementing employee recognition programs and rewards

Traveling to different ILM centers in Kamloops as needed (travel expenses covered by the organization)

Qualifications:

Administrative Skills: Proficiency in managing office tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees and external parties.

Organizational Skills: Strong capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in completing tasks, such as processing paperwork and maintaining records.

Knowledge of HR Processes: Familiarity with basic human resources functions like recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Computer Literacy: Competence in using Google Workspace tools, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Forms.

Discretion and Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in the HR department and across the organization.
