The startup's mission is to encourage and empower people to set up their own hyper-local micro-distribution businesses by providing them with better profit margins, access to a large assortment of brands and SKUs, and supply consistency. The startup connects retailers, such as kirana and general stores, in India's semi-urban and rural areas to a wide range of consumer goods and brands via its network of digitally-connected wholesale partners.
ApnaKlub, an FMCG wholesale platform for low population density markets, has raised $10M in Series A funding from Tiger Global. This follows the $4 million round they raised from Sequoia India's Surge, Blume Ventures, Whiteboard Capital, and Flourish Ventures in August 2021.

About The Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Work on handling recruitment (sourcing/headhunting)
• Work on liaising with stakeholders for interview management
• Work on updating the employee database
• Prepare and implement annual calendar for HR Department.
• Oversee responsibility for primary HR functions, which include managing the company HRIS.
• Provide high-touch support to new employees by responding to questions quickly and with a friendly and helpful approach.
• Work on crafting experiences that will make employees feel valued and foster a sense of belonging.
• Work on a variety of virtual and in-person events, from smaller team-building activities to company-wide gatherings and celebrations
• Identify key employee opinions and sentiments through the use of surveys, focus groups, or other innovative methods and partner with leadership to implement changes based on employee feedback.
• Must have hands-on experience in Learning and development.
