Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Intern Overview: As an HR Intern, you will support the HR team in various functions, gaining hands-on experience in human resources management. You will assist in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, and compliance activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in HR while contributing to the smooth functioning and success of our HR department. Please note that this internship is UNPAID. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment Support: • Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting job openings on various platforms. • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates. • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth process for candidates and interviewers. • Conduct initial phone screenings and support the interview process. Onboarding Assistance: • Help prepare onboarding materials and welcome kits for new hires. • Assist in conducting new employee orientations, ensuring a positive onboarding experience. • Facilitate the completion of necessary paperwork and documentation for new employees. Employee Engagement: • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events. • Gather feedback from employees and help in analyzing engagement survey results. • Assist in implementing programs to enhance employee morale and satisfaction. HR Administration: • Maintain and update employee records and databases with accurate and current information. • Support HR compliance activities by ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements. Learning and Development: • Assist in organizing training sessions and development programs for employees. • Help track employee training progress and maintain training records. • Conduct research on best practices in learning and development. Data Collection and Analysis: • Collect and analyse HR data to generate reports on key HR metrics. • Provide insights to support HR decision-making processes and strategy development. General HR Support: • Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance as needed. • Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives. • Stay updated on HR trends, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices. Qualifications: • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and thoroughness. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Previous experience or coursework in human resources, business administration, or related fields is a plus but not required. • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to learning and contributing to HR initiatives.
