Job Description
As an HR intern, you will report to the senior HR officer and be responsible for a range of duties. These include inputting updates on the department’s internal HR database, assisting with recruitment, providing counselling, managing inductions and internships, and contributing to the training and development of new onboarded interns. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to deliver high-quality and timely HR assistance with minimal supervision, thereby helping the HR department achieve its daily objectives.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face counselling sessions with employees
- Provide guidance and assistance to the HR manager as needed
- Gather and manage data related to counselling and other HR functions
- Manage induction and internship programs
- Contribute to the training and development of new employees
- Participate in career days and company social and networking events
Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must be currently enrolled in a university or college program at the junior or senior level. Preferred courses of study include BBA, B.COM, Human Resources, MBA, or any other field related to the study of business.
