Our beautiful Bangalore office is conveniently located in Embassy Tech Village, Sarjapur Outer Ring Rd, Bangalore. This position requires working from office most days with some flexibility and will also require some overlap in work hours with US staff.

What you will do

You will report to the global CEO (who resides in Stamford, CT) and will be the first HR employee in India responsible to recruit and grow the team in India and manage all aspects of HR. You will drive a wide variety of HR programs and topics, including Recruitment, New Employee Onboarding, Compensation & Benefits, Creating a good workspace environment for employees, Manager/Employee Feedback Management, Employee Education and Development Training, and Expat Relocation, and Expat Management.

You will be responsible for day-to-day HR operations such as Workday administration, payroll coordination, employment contract management, vendor management.

You will help the firm develop a performance assessment and feedback system to help employees continue to grow in their roles and drive performance communication between each employee and their manager.

You will manage the process of recruiting, including campus recruiting of new graduates, globally (via remote work tools such as Zoom as needed).

You will be involved in the development of the employees, covering a broad range of topics, e.g., Performance Management, Talent Management, Coaching, Workforce Planning and Engagement.

While you may also take on responsibilities lying outside of a traditional HR role, the multifaceted nature of this role creates the opportunity to learn additional aspects of a growing business.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience in an HR Business Partner / Generalist role, preferably in a fast-growing, high-performance, and tech-driven / start-up / scale-up environment.

. Experience working with a global team and unifying a global team

University degree from a reputed institute (preference)

. Experience and willing to recruit a strong team of engineers and leaders at all levels, directly or through a network of recruiters

Knowledge of Indian Labor Law and Compliance

Superior communication skills

Initiates, drives, and delivers HR programs

Strong at building strong relationships and networks

Enjoys a high degree of freedom and responsibility
