Duties
• Service clients within commercial and light industrial environments such as cold storage, supermarkets, and commercial building HVAC
• Assemble and install refrigeration or HVAC systems and components
• Install and calibrate related controls (including wiring)
• Troubleshoot systems, suggesting corrective actions and sourcing parts
• When there is a malfunction, diagnose the problem and fix the unit by replacing or repairing controls, electric wiring or other parts
• Other duties as assigned
Skills
• Exercise sound judgment and maintain a professional demeanor
• Mechanical aptitude and technical expertise as a Refrigeration and HVAC Technician
• Ability to work well and safely under pressure, individually and as part of a team
• A problem-solving attitude
• Verbal and written communication skills, comfortable in dealing with vendors, suppliers, and co-workers
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00-$54.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
