We are seeking a skilled and motivated BAS Controls Technician to join our team
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems (BAS), with a focus on hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BAS hardware and software
Minimum of 2 years of experience with BAS/BMS or DDC controls
Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Delta Controls, Trane, ALC, or similar
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission BAS/BMS and DDC controls systems
Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on BAS equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BAS hardware and software to ensure optimal system performance
Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on-site to ensure successful project completion
Program BAS devices according to project specifications
Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and concisely to clients
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BAS technology

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and commission BAS/BMS and DDC controls systems.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with BAS/BMS or DDC controls.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Delta Controls, Trane, ALC, or similar.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
