Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Location: Ottawa, ON
L.G. Home Comfort is growing across Ontario, and we’re looking for experienced Senior HVAC Service Technicians to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Maintenance
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to homeowners.
General
Maintain accurate records of work performed through mobile tools or written forms.
Ensure all safety protocols and local HVAC codes are followed.
Keep a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC experience (service, installation, or both).
Valid 313D or 313A Refrigeration License required.
Strong technical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawlspaces).
