Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read schematics and has experience with appliance repair. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including boilers and air conditioning units.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure systems are running efficiently.
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
Plumb new installations as required for HVAC systems.
Build and weld components as necessary to complete installations or repairs.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC installations and repairs.
Proficient in appliance repair techniques relevant to HVAC equipment.
Experience in plumbing tasks associated with HVAC installations.
Skills in building and welding for custom installations or modifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
