Job description
We are a busy locally owned and operated automotive machine and engine rebuilding shop located in Langford, B.C. We are looking for a Machinist Apprentice or Shop Helper to join our team.
Applicant Requirements:
· Positive attitude
· Hardworking
· Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
· Motivated
· Understands the importance of contributing to a team
· Fast learner
· Valid driver’s licence (must provide a current driver’s abstract)
· Must know how to drive a standard transmission vehicle
Duties will include but are not limited to:
· Shop clean up
· Delivery to clients
· Flywheel grinding and resurfacing (we are willing to teach)
We offer competitive wages, based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Benefits:
• On-site parking
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

What You'll Do:

• Use a variety of tools to measure, cut, and shape sheet metal.
• Support the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, vents, and air conditioning units.
• Help ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:
• Enthusiasm and commitment to starting a career in HVAC Sheet Metal.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions from experienced Journeypersons.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments.
• Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and a desire to develop your skills.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred, but not required).
