Full Job Description
We are a mechanical contractor serving the NYC and Long Island area, looking for a seasoned Project Manager to take on projects. We specialize in commercial fit-out working with some of the most well known GCs within the industry. We are looking for a project manager to join our team full time, and offer a competitive salary, medical & 401K, commensurate on experience.
Responsibilities
Daily job site visits and inspection to view progress of projects.
Daily correspondence and interaction with director of operations, GC's and subcontractors.
Monitoring status of project logs, such as equipment submittals and shop drawings.
Responsible for reviewing submittals and releasing equipment to subcontractors and vendors.
Knowledge of MEP design drawings, details, schedules, and specifications.
Overseeing all sequencing of installations for individual mechanical trades.
Evaluating/Producing sub-contractor change orders, creating RFI's, producing project scheduling of tasks, writing proposals, reviewing contracts, producing submittals, and change orders. You will also be required to be in the office until 5pm on selected days (Rotating schedule during pandemic. Once the pandemic is over, you will be required to end your day in the office at 5pm) to complete any necessary paperwork, releasing material, etc. Hours are 8-5pm.
