Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, install and operate boilers, refrigeration equipment, generators, air conditioning facilities, and all appurtenant equipment driven by steam, air, diesel, gas, water, or any other power-developing energy
This position also patrols, inspects and maintains all mechanical equipment to the end that the most economical and efficient results may be obtained

Starts unit and adjusts it for proper cut-in and cut-out of refrigeration units, humidifiers, heaters, air cleaners, and circulating pumps
Adjust systems for optimal performance
Maintains refrigeration and air conditioning systems by checking performance and determining problems
Installs, maintains and repairs the electrical and pneumatic systems associated with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment from the safety switch throughout the equipment
Installs, maintains, repairs, operates all types centrifugal and reciprocating refrigeration/air-conditioning systems; also all types of pneumatic/electro-mechanical temperature controls, chillers and boilers

Job Title: HVAC Mechanic Supervisor

Department: Facility Operations and Maintenance

Job Summary:

Maintain, repair, install and operate boilers, refrigeration equipment, generators, air conditioning facilities, and all appurtenant equipment driven by steam, air, diesel, gas, water, or any other power-developing energy. This position also patrols, inspects and maintains all mechanical equipment to the end that the most economical and efficient results may be obtained. This position requires HVAC certification.
