Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients.
Duties
Install, service, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
Diagnose system malfunctions using schematics and mechanical knowledge
Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and electrical wiring
Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues before they lead to failure
Utilize plumbing, welding, and appliance repair skills for system modifications or repairs
Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints for proper installation and troubleshooting
Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades
Maintain detailed service records and report on system performance
Requirements
Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair; mechanical knowledge is essential
Skilled in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair
Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and construction principles
Prior experience as a mechanic or in related maintenance roles is highly desirable
Strong understanding of HVAC systems including ductwork, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical components
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to safety standards
Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory
