About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at the New York University. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, greasing and replacing equipment, parts and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, logs and inventories.
Report to the Manager of the HVAC Shop.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A New York City Refrigeration Engineer's license and EPA-CFC Universal certification are necessary.
At least three years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably with absorption and freon A/C equipment.
Working EnvironmentThe selected candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
