Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to install, troubleshoot and repair various HVAC equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioners, and heating units.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
Perform appliance repairs as needed to keep all HVAC-related equipment in top condition.
Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and provide effective solutions.
Collaborate with other technicians to build, plumb, or weld components as necessary for system installations or repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during service calls.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their HVAC needs.
Experience

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of HVAC equipment.
Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation related to HVAC systems.
Skills in appliance repair, plumbing, welding, or related trades are advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

License/Certifications:

-Driver's license (required)

-Post secondary apprenticeship (required)

-Gas ticket (asset)

-Refrigeration mechanic license, sheet metal worker license or plumbing license (asset)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
