Material and Labor Take-offs: Perform accurate material and labor take-offs for all components of the HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, controls, and mechanical equipment
Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgets
Project Costing: Calculate total project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor services, and overheads
Code Compliance: Ensure all HVAC designs and estimates comply with local, state, and federal regulations, especially those pertaining to medical facilities (e.g., infection control, indoor air quality, and specialized ventilation systems)
Client Interaction: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates meet project expectations and requirements
Proposal Development: Assist in developing proposals and bid submissions for new projects, clearly outlining the scope of work and associated costs
Budget Management: Track project budgets during construction to ensure estimates align with actual costs, identifying any variances

Position Overview
