Skuuudle is the UK’s largest eCommerce pricing intelligence company. We provide the world’s biggest and best retailers and brands with the competitive intelligence they need to win on price and promotions.

We’re looking for a talented, hard-working software developer with experience building analytical web applications in Laravel to join our team.

Role Specification

You’ll be joining the team responsible for one of our key products, a web application to provide Skuuudle’s market leading pricing intelligence solution to a new audience of small-to-medium independent eCommerce retailers.

We’re looking to accelerate the development of this vital new product line. The work will include building out new features, visualisations, workflows, APIs and more. The tech stack includes Laravel, JavaScript and SQL, hosted on AWS.

The role is remote-first, although you are welcome to work from our Manchester HQ if you prefer.

Person Specification

Beyond the essential technical requirements, we value individuals who are high-energy, bright, and can thrive autonomously in a remote environment. If you are driven, enthusiastic, and enjoy solving challenging technical problems, we would like to hear from you.

Essential Requirements

• 2+ years’ professional experience developing web applications in Laravel.

• A degree in computer science or a related field from a reputable institution (2:1 or higher.)

• High proficiency in Laravel, PHP, JavaScript, SQL.

• Enthusiastic user of AI (Cursor, Codex, Claude etc.) to enhance engineering productivity.

• Professional experience working with AWS.

• Impeccable work ethic.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job Title: Back Office Administrator and Scheduling Assistant

Location: J9/10 M25 Downside, Cobham. KT11 3DB

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Salary: £21,000 - £22,000 per annum

To be considered for this role you must have excellent administration experience as well as some call centre experience

Specsavers Home Visits provide vital eye care to vulnerable patients living in their own homes. In this role, the successful candidate will work amongst a lovely supportive small office team planning clinics and scheduling appointments for the clinical teams as well as the deliveries of optical prescriptions to customers.

You will take calls from customers and care home clients. This position demands real attention to detail and you need to be able to multitask and also posses excellent administration skills that will be used to assist the smooth day to day running of the business. Candidates must have strong PC skills, an excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate with customers at all levels.

Our ideal candidate will be friendly and be able to demonstrate excellent customer care as well as strong administration skills. This is a busy fast paced role and would suit someone from an office administration or customer service background - optical experience is not essential - but the ability to work at pace is.
