Job Description
The Senior Testing Analyst job acts participates in the improvement and governance of quality and ongoing fitness-for-purpose of an organization's critical data assets. While working independently with general supervision, this role evaluates equipment and processes to improve the safety, reliability, and maintainability of products and systems. This job tests the performance of various systems, applications and databases and supports the quality assurance and management staff processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Analyzes test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure the quality of information systems, applications and databases delivered.
• Maintains the design and development of usability testing programs, cases, scenarios and processes to ensure that all functions are thoroughly tested.
• Identifies and makes recommendations regarding critical points of failure while monitoring, tracking and reporting ongoing IT quality levels.
• Selects testing tools and processes for use in projects and testing.
• Recommends target goals for IT improvement and identifies optimal approaches for resolving IT quality issues to achieve targets.
• Engages with business leadership to quantify and articulate the business impact of IT quality issues.
• Communicates information on IT quality standards, procedures, requirements and initiatives.

• Participation in Story Grooming sessions and perform Requirement Analysis on stories
• Creating Test Plan (Test Strategy) and Test Scenarios
• Translating Test Scenarios to Test Cases (Sprint & E2E) and create Requirement Traceability Matrix
• Execution of Functional and Regression Cases
• E2E Testing of In Scope Items required for a Release including Sprint Testing
• Defect Reporting, Triage and Management through life cycle of defects
• Daily and Weekly Status Reporting
• Coordination with Onsite leads
• Analyze Production Incidents and create Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document
• Create Defect Prevention Strategies based on RCA performed
• Updating regression suite every release
• Perform thorough testing on fixes for Production Incidents
• Design & maintenance of automation scripts & test cases and Execution of automated cases
• Continuous Improvement in all aspects of Testing Lifecycle
