Job Title: IAC Developer

Location: Warwick, United Kingdom

Work Mode: Hybrid- 2days onsite per week

Background:

Proficiency in Azure Platform Engineering using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code with deployment through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline. With CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) experience.

Responsibilities:
• Experience in leading a Devops development team.
• Good communication, client management skills.
• Experience in working on Project plan and strategy plan.
• While Terraform will be used for Infrastructure as Code, many Azure resources need to be created using the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, where it will be critical to ensure proper linting, modularity, error handling, logging and package or module/library dependency management.
• Git experience with best practices using Azure DevOps Repos preferred.
• Experience of working in an agile methodology and have the ability to review the code during the pull request.
• Knowledge of the provisioning and use of service principals, Azure roles based access controls and the use of Identities is preferred.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline development using Terraform, PowerShell, ARM, Json and YAML is mandatory to deploy the resource as infrastructure as a code.
• Experience in Deployment of Policies, Networking, Monitoring, Firewall, VPN, private DNS and other Azure services (PaaS/IaaS) using Azure DevOps CI/CD YAML scripting is preferred.
• Experience implementing continuous integration/deployment tools and practices would be preference.
• Azure Infrastructure knowledge and experience required to inform on best practices and present on options analysis with recommendations on approach if required.
• Good understanding of cloud security best practice and security compliance. Proficiency in cloud DevOps/platform engineering and large-scale live services.
• Excellent communicator in person, In addition experience in energy sector domain would be a bonus.
• Ability to adapt, change and grow quickly as we scale the organization.

Required Tools & Technologies: Azure, Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM, PowerShell, Visual Studio Code/Any Code editor/IDE, Open source terraform module, code review, merging and testing.
