Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of project experience
Overview
The Identity and Access Management Engineer is responsible for account life cycle management and auditing as appropriate. The Identity and Access Management Engineer plans, installs, integrates, configures, deploys, automates, and tests security controls within the IAM solutions and systems. The Engineer effectively communicates department and organization-wide policies and procedures impacting Identity and Access management to end users, leadership, and peers to ensure compliant practices. In addition, the Identity and Access Management Engineer guides optimizing security build based on appropriate minimum necessary standards. The Engineer is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, testing, support, and optimization of Identity Governance and Role Based Access Control (RBAC). The Identity and Access Management Engineer works independently, holds team and organization-level responsibilities, and participates in small to medium-scale projects. The Engineer assists other team members and TGH staff and leaders related to identity and access management and participates in continuous improvement activities
IAM Engineer:
• Ability to plan, install, integrate, configure, deploy, automate, and test security controls within the IAM solutions and systems.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access management-related issues.
• Improve identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2 integrations.
• Partner with IT and product teams for SSO and user registration integration.
• Create and maintain detailed and accurate documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Resolves Tier 2 and 3 technical issues (simple to semi-complex in nature) to determine root causes, troubleshoot, resolve, and implement corrective action.
• Participates in project support related to access provisioning and improving current workflows
Qualifications
• Minimum of Associate degree with minimum 5 YOE in identity space
• OR, Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum 3 YOE in identity space
• Demonstrated success using Active Directory or Identity and Access management tools
• Demonstrated success managing IAM solutions and systems
