Job Title: IB and Cambridge Curriculum History Teacher

Location: Hyderabad

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curricula. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality history education to students, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging a passion for history.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective history lessons aligned with the IB and Cambridge curricula.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to engage students in historical inquiry and critical thinking.
• Prepare students for IB and Cambridge examinations, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and report on progress to parents and school administration.
• Classroom Management:
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and respect.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Address student behaviour issues promptly and fairly in accordance with school policies.
• Professional Development:
• Stay current with developments in the field of history education and the IB and Cambridge curricula.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and school administration.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate history with other subjects where appropriate.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience of teaching the global perspectives subject.
• Proven experience teaching the IB and Cambridge curricula.
• Strong knowledge of historical content and pedagogical methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹95,000.00 - ₹98,000.00 per month
