Job Description: Job Title – IB DCO – Assurance Location- Mumbai Corporate Title - AVP Role Description You will be joining the Assurance Team in the Investment Bank's Divisional Controls Office (DCO). DCO is responsible for the global control environment across the Investment Bank (IB) and is closely aligned with the business, providing central oversight for Front Office (FO) control framework activities, including design, implementation, ongoing assurance/validation of FO supervisory and key FO controls. The purpose of the Assurance Team is to provide IB with assurance that Non-Financial Risk key controls are complete, accurate, and operating effectively. The Assurance Team is currently responsible for testing the design and operating effectiveness of IB owned key controls. Other responsibilities of the team include executing detection tests to stress test the operating effectiveness of key controls and running Scenario Analysis workshops and Emerging Risk Forums either to explore potential Non-Financial Risk threats or to stress test the control environment. Job Details: • Carry out walkthroughs, design test plans, and execute design and operating controls testing of key front office controls. • Provide quality assurance over remediation plans for findings and/or risks owned by or impacting the Investment Banking business. • Identify opportunities to improve key controls and the control environment through controls testing and quality assurance. • Develop a good understanding of the Non-Financial Risks impacting the Investment bank. • Develop a good understanding of the Assurance Testing methodology; specifically on testing required to conclude on design and operating effectiveness of controls.
