IB Mathematics Teacher

At ap-guru, we are seeking a skilled and experienced IB Mathematics Teacher to join our team of educators. As an IB Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering online math and statistics classes for students preparing for international curriculum exams such as IB, A Level, IGCSE, AP, and others.

Key Responsibilities

• Explain complex mathematical concepts in simple and understandable terms to students.

• Use real-life examples to teach geometrical concepts and make them more engaging.

• Develop students' interest in mathematics, physics, and statistics by creating interactive lessons and activities.

• Plan and create teaching materials that cater to different learning styles.

• Assign tasks and projects to students to help them apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.

• Facilitate classroom discussions on various topics and encourage students to share their thoughts and ideas.

• Provide additional support to slow learners and help them catch up with their peers.

• Build strong relationships with students and make them feel comfortable asking questions or seeking help.

Requirements

• Experience teaching math and statistics at various levels (formal or informal).

• Great understanding of how students learn best and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.

• Familiarity with curriculum requirements and teaching methodologies.

• An entrepreneurial mindset, including a high tolerance for ambiguity, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias toward action.

• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
