We are seeking a highly motivated .NET Developer to join our team and support the maintenance and enhancement of document capture applications powered by IBM Datacap. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with .NET development and a keen interest in learning about enterprise document processing systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your skills while contributing to the efficiency and automation of document workflows for enterprise systems.
Application Maintenance:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in IBM Datacap-based document capture applications.
Implement minor updates and bug fixes to ensure seamless application functionality.
Assist in optimizing existing document capture workflows for better performance and accuracy.
Development and Integration:
Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement .NET components that integrate with IBM Datacap.
Develop and maintain APIs, plugins, and scripts to support document capture workflows.
Assist in creating and modifying Datacap rules, actions, and configurations to meet business requirements.
Testing and Deployment:
Participate in testing to ensure document capture applications perform as expected after updates.
Assist in deploying updates and patches following established CI/CD processes.
Documentation and Support:
Document application changes, workflows, and configurations for knowledge sharing and maintenance.
Provide support to end-users and respond to queries related to document capture applications.
Learning and Growth:
Stay updated on IBM Datacap features and best practices for document capture solutions.
Continuously improve .NET development skills and explore opportunities for automation in document workflows.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, or C#.
Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
Understanding of APIs and integration concepts (e.g., REST, SOAP).
Willingness to learn IBM Datacap and document capture technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Exposure to IBM Datacap, or any document capture/processing software.
Knowledge of enterprise workflow systems or automation tools.
Familiarity with document formats such as PDF, TIFF, and OCR concepts.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
