Role
We are seeking an experienced IBM Verify Access (formerly IBM Security Access Manager - ISAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure access management and identity governance solutions. In this role, the candidate's ability to take in requirements on an agile basis and be able to work autonomously with a high level perspective is a must. As an ideal candidate, you are someone who has repeatedly performed IAM/Governance development at an enterprise level. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM Verify Access, IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM), IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence (IGI), or similar IGA tools, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems while maintaining compliance and security best practices. You understand IAM and IGA concepts and have experience with highly tunable and scalable deployments. Required technical and professional expertise
Minimum of 5+ years' experience with large scale infrastructure deployments using kubernetes
At least 5+ years of experience in Implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) using IBM Verify Access. Integrate with LDAP, Active Directory, and cloud identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta).
Know how to build Info Map Authentication Journey and MFA
Hand on with Scenario based Authentication and Passwordless Journey using FIDO2
Know how to Troubleshoot authentication/authorization issues and optimize performance.
At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with Development of reverse proxy policies, junctions, and advanced access control rules.
3+ years experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
Proven understanding of REST principles and architecture
5+ years of Administer IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) or IBM IGI for lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance.
5+ years Design and automate user provisioning/de-provisioning, access certifications, and segregation of duties (SoD).
Hands on experience and know how to Configure workflows, connectors, and policies for joiner-mover-leaver (JML) processes.
Building Custom Adaptors will benefit.
5+ years experience with developing and operating highly available, distributed applications in production environments on Kubernetes
Experience with building automated tests, handling customer escalations,
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience with troubleshooting, using and configuring Linux system
