Block Storage Engineering Lead
India

As a Block Storage Engineering Lead, you will work with and lead other Deutsche Bank Storage Engineering team members to provide standardized block storage solutions to be deployed in the data centers globally
You will be responsible for the certification of our block storage devices' new code and maintaining our storage engineering documentation
Your focus will be in the area of Block Storage Engineering
You will provide consultation to Deutsche Bank Storage Operations teams for problem management purposes.
Your Role
What You'll Do
• Lead and Work on the Block engineering solutions (VMAX, PureStorage, 3Par, Cisco, Brocade) as formulated by our Product Management team.
• Drive the definition and design of new core processes tools organization performance metrics and governance, hands-on
• Evaluate of new solution technology in the Block area
• Ensure adherence to Deutsche Bank Security Standards (CISO)
• Certify new code and related software for Block area
• Maintain documentation standards
• Provide consultation to Deutsche Bank Storage Operations
• Engage a wide stakeholder community and our suppliers to gain their participation in collaborative design processes and ensure their support for implementing change
How You'll Lead
• Work with our business/application teams to gather requirement in order to engineer a solution
• Maintain engineering standards and help Operations team in adhering to these
• Manage time effectively in order to work with different priority, different projects
Skills You'll Need
• 12 years plus experience in the storage industry with knowledge of engineering principles
• Exposure to a range of different block storage solutions in the industry (VMAX, PureStorage, 3Par, Cisco, Brocade, etc.)
• Strong belief and skills in automation
• Disciplined and analytical
