Position Summary :
The Group supports bankers and senior management within ICG and BCMA globally with the various services including library services, analytics, various reporting and ad-hoc requirements on performance and metrics across Business, , Products, Markets, Clients, Capital and Returns. The Group also supports various functions such as risk, expense processing and application helpdesk.
Role & Responsibilities :
The role will be in-business support to Banking Capital Markets and Advisory (BCMA) group in making decisions to provide efficient, timely and cost effective solution to meet market data needs and requirements for Global BCMA users
Engage with global business managers and seniors to understand and assist them with their Market Data requirements
Maintain high quality market data inventories, analyze and conduct routine maintenance to ensure all access levels are within the allocated budget Analyze the various databases and compare with other products in the markets
Responsible for planning, building up and managing the overall delivery of the services / support
Establish strong, standardized and consistent processes around overall delivery in partnership with global stakeholders
Develop recruiting, integration and delivery strategy in partnership with other stakeholders
Own and Responsible for end to end development of the projects/programs assigned
The role would also require to interact with business and operations partners globally
Ensure the right team structure and organization is put in place for the new development unit. Excellent track record in Team management and interaction of vendors/staffed model
Able to be a lead from the front, to get down and work with team and understand the problem and resolve
Work across multiple teams - offshore/onshore/Vendor teams and track project deliverables closely
Build a team that is keen to learn, able to deliver high quality and can adapt to demanding client expectations
Minimum of 5 years of Management/ leadership experience
People manage employees in terms of career paths, year-end processes, skill development, leave planning etc.
Responsible for adherence to local Compliance policies and processes for self and team
Qualifications / Experience :
Required - Graduate / Post Graduate with 12+ years of experience Experience as a delivery manager and in development and execution of strategy around a captive model
Key Skills :
Person with 12+ years of experience, working in similar roles across banking
A strong commitment to quality and efficiency
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Powerpoint) and ability to make good presentations
Good understanding of Investment Banking and Capital Markets products Knowledge of market data systems (Bloomberg, Factset, Dealogic etc) Relationship management skills - ability to develop and sustain positive partnerships and be a strong leader
Strong stakeholder management experience
Migration project exposure is a Strong plus
Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills ; Proven experience managing staff and function transition between locations and time-zone preferred
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data) partnership and networking skills to be the key
Solid experience in managing teams.
Project management skills will be an added advantage
Respect for information confidentiality
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of Citi policies for HR, Compliance, InfoSec, Legal, Finance etc
