About us
Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.
About the role
The ICT Business Partner serves as the key link between ICT and the business, ensuring technology services, capabilities and investments align with organisational needs and deliver value. The role works closely with the Principal Manager, ICT Service and Business Partnership to drive effective engagement, informed decision‑making, and continuous improvement across ICT services.
In this role, you will:
Act as the central liaison between ICT and business stakeholders across all divisions.
Support the development and management of SLAs to balance ICT demand and service expectations.
Build a strong understanding of business priorities to ensure ICT solutions are aligned and well‑utilised.
Provide timely guidance and support to business areas on ICT capabilities and performance.
Review and enhance ICT services and programs to ensure they continue to meet organisational needs.
About you
You are a confident, proactive ICT professional who builds strong relationships and works collaboratively across diverse business areas. You bring a deep understanding of ICT services and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions. Comfortable working with autonomy, you manage your priorities effectively and exercise sound judgement in advising others on complex issues.
You will bring:
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate across all levels.
The capability to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage competing priorities.
Experience providing advice on complex ICT matters with discretion and professional judgement.
A solid understanding of ICT services, solutions and business integration.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
Be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
Possess relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in ICT/related discipline, OR have significant demonstrated experience in relevant field
