Job Description
We're looking for a skilled ICT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performing IT infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead infrastructure projects, strengthen security, and drive continuous improvement across both on-premises and cloud environments.
Reporting into the Infrastructure Manager, you will primarily focus on project delivery (60%) and escalations/problem management (40%). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for driving improvements in system performance and security.

Project Delivery & Leadership
Lead infrastructure projects including RBAC implementation across systems
Configure Microsoft security settings across cloud suite
Deploy and manage monitoring solutions
Develop and manage Intune policies, app packaging, and patching cycles
Infrastructure Management
Maintain and optimise on-prem and cloud infrastructure
Manage server environments (physical and virtual)
Implement monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
Security & Compliance
Support and implement infrastructure security best practices
Ensure compliance with internal standards and data protection requirements
Collaboration & Support
Partner with stakeholders to design scalable solutions
Provide Level 2/3 support for complex issues
Maintain clear and thorough technical documentation
Continuous Improvement
Identify automation opportunities
Research and recommend emerging technologies
What You'll Bring:
4+ years' experience in a Level 3 Systems Engineer (or similar) role
Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator, MCSE, ITIL) desirable
Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with Windows Server 2019+ (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
Experience with Azure and Entra (Azure AD)
Experience with Active Directory, including multi-domain environments
Experience with Windows 11+ administration
Experience with monitoring tools (server & application) exc
Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware preferred)
Experience with Linux environments (desirable)
Experience with Intune (policies, app packaging, patching) (desirable)
Experience with networking fundamentals (desirable)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
