G1 Asset Management is a niche IT services company specializing the secure disposal, data destruction and recycling of corporate and government IT assets.
G1 has established facilities in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
We are currently looking for an ICT Logistics & Warehouse Team Member to be based out of our Sydney (Seven Hills) processing facility.
As an ICT Logistics & Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for:
Driving to client offices / sites (primary Sydney CBD and Metro area) to collect IT assets (computers, laptops, servers) for disposal.
Loading IT devices for safe transport back to the Seven Hills facility.
Packing IT devices to pallets and using a forklift to move pallets to and from pallet racking.
Professionally representing G1 to clients as a client-facing member of our company.
Stacking, wrapping and moving pallets using a hand pallet jack and forklift.
General warehouse & logistics tasks.
This job requires a large degree of manual handling and the ability to lift and move moderate to heavy IT equipment such as photocopiers, servers or server racks.
We are seeking someone who is available to start immediately for 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday work.
The successful applicant will be employed on a casual basis with a 6 month probation. With the intention to move to full time for the right candidate.
Mandatory Requirements
The below requirements MUST be met for your application to be considered.
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must have an Open Driver's License.
Must have current forklift ticket and be able to confidently operate a forklift.
Must be confident driving in the Sydney CBD.
Must be able to lift and/or move moderately heavy items such as servers or photocopiers.
Pass a Police Check and random drug tests.
The ideal candidate would also have
Excellent communication skills and professionalism (as you will regularly be meeting clients in corporate office-based settings)
Experience in a courier or transport-based role which required collection / delivery of goods in a metro area.
