Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the IGCSE curriculum for ICT subjects.
Provide engaging and interactive instruction to students, incorporating various teaching methodologies to meet diverse learning styles.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and academic growth.
Foster students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and ICT skills through hands-on activities and projects.
Integrate technology effectively into the teaching and learning process, utilizing relevant software, tools, and resources.
Assess and evaluate student progress through various formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and grades.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and grades.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the ICT curriculum, ensuring alignment with school standards and objectives.
Stay updated with advancements in ICT and educational technology, integrating new tools and methodologies into teaching practices.
Establish and maintain open communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Contribute to the extracurricular activities of the school, such as technology clubs, competitions, or workshops.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Teaching certification or qualification, specializing in ICT or Computer Science education.
Prior experience teaching ICT at the IGCSE level or similar curriculum.
Strong knowledge and understanding of ICT concepts, software applications, programming languages, and emerging technologies.
Proficiency in using educational technology tools, software, and resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective instruction.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
