Job Description
· To provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
· On a rotational basis, perform all nursing related work with at most courtesy, dignity & empathy toward Patients.
· To provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with doctors.
· To Maintain stock of all required injections/drugs in the department.
· To supervise the daily clinical management of all patients in conjunction with the nurse team leaders and under the guidance of consultants and attend all post operative patients on day of operation and every day following.
· To discuss medication on discharge with patients, provide health education and write a discharge summary if requested.
· To assist in the day-to-day functions at the hospital and any other reasonable tasks, within their level of experience, requested by the hospital.
· Maintain records of usage/supply of injections/drugs/equipment, for audit purposes.
