SPEC Solutions is seeking a seasoned Identity Security Architect to lead our security practice in Australasia. As a pivotal member of our professional services team, you will drive the delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for our clients.
You will act as the lead consultant and engineer for technical client engagements in security, focusing on IAM.
You will drive, deliver, and oversee the architecture, assessments, and implementation of IAM solutions for our clients.
Your expertise in protecting Microsoft/Azure security environments will be essential in consulting clients and delivering effective identity & access management solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks, develop strategies to mitigate them, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
You will work closely with clients to conduct workshops, communicate discoveries to Senior Management and Executive stakeholders, and present strategic recommendations.
Influencing governance, processes, and documentation within the practice will be key to your success.
About the Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone with significant consulting, architecture & delivery experience in Identity and Access Management & Security, particularly in a Microsoft cloud native environment.
You should have top-level communication skills and high-end consulting experience, with the ability to understand business requirements and design effective solutions.
You should have deep experience with the Microsoft Entra Suite, including AAD B2B (Entra ID), Entra Privileged Access, and full tenant configuration and security.
Experience in multifactor authentication, SSPR, conditional access policy, privileged identity management, web application integration, identity access governance, Azure Defender for Cloud – Sentinel, data migration, synchronization, and profiling is highly desirable.
Awareness of security frameworks for compliance, such as ISM, ISO, NIST, IRAP, CISM, etc., and Agile and ITIL project experience are also required.
