Job Summary:
As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging catalogue descriptions for various gaming products on our platform. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about gaming and adept at creating captivating written content.
Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and engaging catalogue descriptions for various gaming products, including video games, DLCs, gift cards, etc.
- Conduct thorough research on each product to gather relevant information and insights for crafting accurate and informative descriptions.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with branding guidelines.
- Proofread and edited descriptions to ensure accuracy, coherence, and adherence to grammatical and stylistic standards.
- Focus on long form content.
- Adapt to feedback and incorporate suggestions for continuous improvement in content quality and effectiveness.
- Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong research abilities to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
- A basic understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword optimization are preferred.
- Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and content formatting.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Pursuing or recently completing a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in content writing, copywriting, or journalism is a plus but not required.
