Visual Storyteller
About the Position:
We're looking for a skilled Visual Storyteller to join our team. As a Videographer & Photographer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality visual content that captures the essence of our brand. If you're passionate about telling stories through images and video, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement visual strategies that align with our brand identity.
• Collaborate with our teams to conceptualize and execute visually appealing campaigns.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and equipment for in-studio and on-location shoots.
• Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Creative Cloud tools while maintaining our brand's unique aesthetic.
• Lead video production from pre to post (shooting, audio, lighting, color grading, transitions, etc.) to deliver engaging content.
• Manage digital assets, backups, and file libraries to ensure seamless workflow and organization.
• Stay updated with the latest photography/videography trends and best practices.
Tools & Technical Proficiency:
Photography Tools:
• DSLR/Mirrorless Cameras (e.g., Canon, Sony, Nikon)
• Studio Lighting Equipment (softboxes, reflectors, LED panels)
Videography Tools:
• Gimbals/Stabilizers (DJI Ronin, Zhiyun, etc.)
• Lavalier & Boom Microphones
• Audio Recorders (Zoom, Tascam)
Software Skills:
• Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop (Photo editing & retouching)
• Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (Video editing)
• Adobe After Effects (Motion graphics and basic animation)
• DaVinci Resolve (Color grading - optional but preferred)
• Canva or other content tools (basic design when needed)
• Familiarity with Google Drive, One Drive or Dropbox for asset management
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Photography, Film, Media, Design, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with portfolio)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in photography/videography (agency or brand side)
• A strong, versatile portfolio showcasing product, lifestyle, and campaign work
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of trends in social media, especially Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with livestreaming setups
• Knowledge of graphic design
• Passion for skincare, wellness, or beauty industry
