About This Opportunity
As an associate Imaging Artist, you will have to retouch photographs (as per brand guidelines) received from Vendor partners and Photo-studios to be used across multiple digital experiences.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for retouching products/apparels & accessories/ on-figure model images and/or still life CGI images for Target.com, Weekly ads and other Target properties.
You will receive creative direction from Art director and senior artists and follow complex and detailed notes to create high quality creative assets. You will deliver daily targets without compromising overall image quality in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment under strict deadlines.
As a retouching expert, you are quick and have unmatched technical skills. Advanced skill-level in manipulation, color correction, masking, pathing, complex layers and compositing.
As an independent contributor, you will make informed creative decisions based on brand guidelines, take initiatives and bring efficiency in imaging workflow.
You will ensure that all digital images adhere to Target's photography styleguide and will collaborate with process owners/QA leads and work on revisions as required.
Potential backup for process/QA lead
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop with excellent understanding of masks, paths, actions and other retouching and color correcting methodologies.
Must have an artistic eye, attention to detail and keen color awareness
Proficiency with Wacom tablet and Mac OS X
Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
4+ Years of Experience
Diploma, Degree or Certification in Graphic design or related Creative field
