About the Role
We’re looking for a full-time Brand and Graphic Designer to join Zomunk.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing beautiful marketing emails, newsletters, branded graphics, onboarding creatives, and supporting assets across campaigns.
You will help craft and maintain Zomunk’s visual identity — ensuring everything looks clean, on-brand, mobile-optimized, and visually impactful.
We are looking for someone who has spectacular taste — someone whose design sense naturally leans toward balance, sharpness, and high visual standards. You should know how to bring a polished feel to everything you create.
A basic understanding of HTML/CSS limitations (for email design) is important, but you don't need to code — just understand how your designs will perform across devices and email clients.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design marketing emails, newsletters, onboarding flows, and branded graphics that are mobile-optimized and visually stunning.
- Build reusable modular email components for quicker and more consistent campaign execution.
- Create brand assets such as hero images, icons, deal showcase cards, GIFs, and announcement creatives.
- Work closely with the marketing and growth teams to design assets that drive high engagement.
- Ensure strong visual consistency across all Zomunk communications.
- Understand the technical limitations of email design (table-based layouts, inline CSS, safe fonts) and design accordingly.
Skills & Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Exceptional taste and a strong sense of visual balance, typography, and color theory.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Ability to create lightweight illustrations, deal cards, and simple animations (GIFs).
- Attention to detail and a polished, finished eye for design quality.
- Ability to work quickly, iterate with feedback, and maintain consistency across assets.
Good-to-Have:
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Customer.io, Klaviyo, Vero, Mailchimp, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email (understanding table-based layouts, inline styling, safe fonts, etc.).
- Experience designing dark mode-compatible assets.
- Awareness of accessibility best practices (contrast ratios, screen reader-friendly designs).
