About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer for a 6-month contract to conduct primarily Client Onboardings and support the bank’s compliance processes ensuring adherence with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing of Onboarding cases taking into account legal/regulatory requirements (e.g. AMLA, AMLO, CDB 20, FinSA, resp. cross-border client segmentation, FATCA/CRS)
- Providing ad-hoc support on client Periodic and Event Driven Reviews
- Preparing documents and setting the base for cases that will be reviewed by Compliance Switzerland and presented to the client onboarding committee
- Supporting on monitoring of sanctions alerts
- Managing KYC and Due Diligence Analysis
- Ensuring adherence to regulations, policies, product and client documentation, in alignment with the guidance provided by Compliance Zug
- Supporting in cross-border business related matters and tax reporting
- Identifying, assessing, mitigating and escalating risks to Compliance Switzerland
- Supporting ad-hoc Compliance projects, in particular the digitalization of AML processes
Experience
For you to become part of AMINA’s journey, we require the following set of experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in the financial sector
- Broad experience as in-house compliance officer in a bank or alternately, the financial industry
- Experience in or curiosity for blockchain and other new technologies
- Structured, independent and precise working manner
- Ability to work under pressure, manage own goals and set up priorities
- Open-minded, solution-oriented and team player attitude
