ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and dissemination of technology for external customers, vendors, and other clients to help improve and increase business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will be responsible for codesigning overall strategy of all the verticals
• Will be responsible for everything technical to support current and future plans of the group
• Will be responsible for a tech / business roadmap for the group
• Managing execution for all tech developments in existing (and tobe developed) applications
• Managing existing team & growing the team as per need
• Work closely with business verticals, internal/external stakeholders for crosscollaboration
• Be manic about quality, customer delivery & efficacy and value for the customer
• Implement appropriate technologies including advanced futureready ones to support growth
• Manage all external relations with stakeholders
Preferred:
• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech / MS from Tier1 Engineering college (+MBA preferred)
• 8+ years of overall experience, 2+ years of experience in a CTO role (or similar roles)
• Previous experience of managing similar profile in a Media / Ecommerce / Startup ecosystem
Mandatory:
• Education & Experience: not a bar. Proven ability, intent, outlook and attitude are key
• Hands on experience in developing new products, optimizing existing applications
• Team building and management experience/expertise
• Deep understanding of technology (asis now and what it may be tomorrow)
• Curiosity and appetite to understand the world of Aluminium
• Customer focused
• Ability to work with different kinds of people across different time zones & culture
