Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Import Clerk based in Long Beach, CA. The Import Clerk will handle tasks such as managing and verifying shipping documentation, coordinating customs clearance processes, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Other responsibilities include maintaining communication with clients and regulatory agencies, tracking shipment progress, and resolving any related issues efficiently. The Import Clerk will play a critical role in supporting smooth import operations and contributing to the wider success of the organization.
Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience in Customs Brokerage and Import processes
• Understanding of International Trade and Import/Export regulations
• Strong Communication skills to liaise with clients, customs officials, and internal teams
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage documentation and compliance
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced on-site environment
• Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or customs-related roles is preferred
