We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented In-House Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role supports marketing initiatives for Garnet Instruments. This role is best suited for a hands-on marketer who is comfortable managing social media, creating content, and working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver clear and effective marketing materials.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in an in-house role
Proven experience managing business social media accounts
Strong creative ability with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong time-management skills
Ability to work well with others and collaborate across departments
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns across social media, email, website, and print
Manage and grow company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Create marketing content including social posts, graphics, short videos, blogs, and technical materials
Work closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to develop accurate messaging
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels
Manage content calendars and marketing projects with strong organizational skills
Track and report on social media and campaign performance
Support trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities
Assist with website updates, basic SEO, and digital marketing initiatives
Gather feedback from internal teams and adjust materials as needed
COMPETENCIES & KNOWLEDGE
Photography and/or video creation experience
Experience in technical, industrial, or manufacturing marketing
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools
Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing platforms, or CRM tools
