This role is built around movement and execution - filming real business moments on the go - balanced with focused editing and planning time in our Coquitlam office, surrounded by a calm, professional work environment.
This is not remote, not freelance, and not an agency role.
The Role
You’ll split your time between:
On the move:
Capturing authentic, high-energy content across meetings, offices, client interactions, travel days, events, and business dinners.
In the office:
Editing, planning, ideation, posting, and analyzing content in a calm, structured workspace alongside other staff focused on their own roles.
You’ll constantly be thinking ahead - what to film next, which moments matter, and how to turn everyday business into viral content.
What You’ll Be Doing
Film short-form video across multiple companies and brands.
Identify and pitch new video ideas daily based on trends, business activity, and upcoming moments.
Capture behind-the-scenes business lifestyle content - real, fast, and authentic.
Edit scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and Shorts.
Write strong captions and hooks tailored to each platform.
Post and manage content across social platforms.
Use office time for editing, strategy, scheduling, and analytics.
Track performance and refine content based on what works.
Collaborate with internal staff while fully owning video execution.
Be flexible with timing - some days start early, some run late.
What We’re Looking For
This is not an entry-level role.
You should:
Have 3+ years of experience creating short-form social content.
Be comfortable filming in fast-moving, real-world environments.
Have a strong understanding of virality, storytelling, and pacing.
Be confident planning content across multiple brands.
Work independently and think ahead without being told what to film.
Be organized, reliable, and calm under pressure.
Enjoy switching between high-energy shoots and focused desk work.
Required Skills
Short-form video shooting with a professional camera & (phone-based)
Video editing (CapCut, Adobe, Canva, or similar)
Strong graphic design skills
Platform-specific formatting and cropping
Caption writing and hooks
Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Shorts, and LinkedIn
Basic analytics and performance tracking

In-office editing and planning in Coquitlam, BC
