As an In Room Dining Supervisor at Hotel Bel-Air your compensation will be $2+.+3 hourly.
What you'll do
You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in In Room Dining, Mini Bar, and the Pool during their day. You will also work in tandem with the Pool Supervisor to create a communication bridge between both outlets. This will include recognizing all In-House and VIP guests, all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best and personalized experience.
You’ll also be responsible for overseeing our In Room Dining Team during their day, including IRD Captains. They also manage the team members at the Pool and Mini Bar, and they are responsible for the direction, coordination and evaluation of these team members within the department during service, while coordinating with our In Room Dining Manager.
You will also ensure our service standards are upheld and will work closely with the In Room Dining Leadership Team to complete any necessary task. As a Supervisor you will have administrative work such as email communication between all departments to confirm the special needs and requests are communicated between the In Room Dining, Pool and Mini Bar team. Furthermore, our Supervisor assists with work schedules, assists in by-weekly payroll, leads daily shift meetings, and reports daily shift operations with any necessary follow up.
Our In Room Dining Supervisor will assist by covering team members’ breaks, spot checking room set ups, and create the daily shift operation report with any necessary follow up. They also participate in the onboarding process of new team members, which includes, interviewing, hiring, and training.
You’ll also assist with amenity deliveries, monitor pick-up requests, monitor deliveries and follow up with retrieving of trays and tables throughout the hotel, clean the in room dining tables, carry dirty dishes, set tables, replenish supplies, assist servers when delivering tables and maintain your working area clean and organized all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.,

Sometimes our guests have special requests involving individualized pre-arrival orders, personalized menus and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our In Room Dining Captains.
Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our In Room Dining Supervisor are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
